Well, maybe not the first love, at least not in some countries—after all, mothers would technically come first. No jokes about Asian mothers please. But let’s not dive too deeply into Freud here. Cars and motorbikes mean a lot to us. Anyone who drives in Taiwan knows the eternal struggle of finding a parking space. Yet, I think this driver is a uniquely creative masterpiece—even by Taiwanese standards of originality.

We all know it: the car or the motorcycle accompanies us throughout life. Maybe it’s where we took our first girlfriend for a ride? Maybe the motorbike helped us cross the threshold into manhood. Memories, emotions, hormones… nostalgia. But please—don’t smoke. Seriously, it’s bad for your health.

Now, I’m not entirely sure what happened here, but I’d guess he slightly missed the harbor entrance?

Sometimes, though, dreams fade, vehicles break down, and utility trucks can’t be saved. Or maybe he’s just trying to avoid the costs of scrapping it?

Anyway, as you can see—this is all about a man’s dearest toy… or maybe his second dearest.
Definitely a minor lapse of attention.

There used to be many such homemade constructions. This beauty stood in Yangmei on a pile of rubble in a community that is being demolished.

Please do NOT forget the parking fee.

… and some maintanence.
